The history of rectangular wall tiles for wall coverings was employed in the 19th century for ‘The Tube’, the name of the underground (subway) in London.
This was the inspiration for the Liverpool collection, a very contemporary reinterpretation of that material. There are basic and neutral colours on a glossy surface with subtle embossments to update the original version of the wall covering in one of the first London underground stations, Liverpool.
